Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure all vehicles are in good working condition and report any maintenance issues to the Transportation Manager.
- Route Planning and Optimization: Plan and optimize routes to ensure timely delivery of goods and passengers, while minimizing fuel consumption and reducing carbon emissions.
- Driver Management: Supervise and manage a team of drivers to ensure they are following company policies and procedures, and provide training and support as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Manage the logistics and supply chain of goods and materials, ensuring they are delivered on time and in good condition.
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL): Must have a valid CDL with a clean driving record.
- Experience: 1+ year of experience in transportation or logistics, with a strong background in route planning and optimization.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex logistics issues and develop effective solutions.
This role requires frequent travel and may involve working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and logistics management.
