Job Summary:

This position is responsible for processing program applications, reviewing eligibility, and guiding applicants through the application process. Rare in-state travel may be required. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process program applications to determine eligibility and provide support to applicants throughout the application process.
  • Communicate program details and requirements primarily through phone and email, with some in-person contact.
  • Respond to help desk tickets and assist at the call center/help desk.
  • Communicate program requirements, laws, policies, and guidelines to program participants, applicants, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of application processing, program eligibility review, and account renewal processes.
  • Basic administrative procedures and systems, such as managing files, records, office procedures, and terminology.
  • Customer service principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, research, reporting, and time management skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with supervisors, peers, and customers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Multitask and prioritize a variety of demands and projects effectively.
  • Intermediate skill in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or higher.
  • Knowledge of the ESA program (statutes, rules, and regulations).
  • Bilingual.
  • Familiarity with financial management and accounting principles.
