Optometrist Job Description

The MedServ Group is seeking a skilled Optometrist to provide high-quality vision care to our patients in healthcare settings. As an Optometrist with our team, you will use your clinical and interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive eye exams to diagnose and treat ocular diseases.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses or eye medications as needed to promote healthy vision.
  • Provide pre and post-operative care to surgical patients.
  • Counsel and educate patients on healthy vision habits.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and active state license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse patient populations.
  • A strong sense of professionalism and personal ethics.
  • Customer-service orientation with a focus on delivering quality patient care.
Benefits:
  • Competitive rates (commensurate with experience) and flexible scheduling.
  • Percentage Pay Option: 35% - 40% of collections (around $1050 - $1200 per visit for 25 patients).
  • Per patient Option: $40-$45 per patient per visit.
  • Sign-on Bonus and back office administrative support.
  • Clinical support and all doctors are 1099 (independent contractors).
