Job Summary

Chevron is seeking a highly skilled Biodiesel Operator and Loader to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our biodiesel plant and loading facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor biodiesel plant equipment, including loading and unloading of materials
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to ensure optimal plant performance
  • Load and unload materials, including railcars, trucks, and barges
  • Inspect and sample products for quality control
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including shipment details and inventory management
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • General knowledge of computers and basic mechanical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6-12 months of general work experience, preferably in a shipping and receiving environment
  • Knowledge of arithmetic and its application
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Working Conditions

This position requires working at heights, being around moving machinery and vehicles, and wearing personal protective equipment. The employee will be subject to continuous exposure to marked changes in temperature, humidity, soybean meal, oil, dust, and high noise levels.
