Job Summary

Chevron is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Biodiesel Operator, Loader to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our biodiesel plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor the biodiesel plant, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Load and unload materials, including biodiesel and other chemicals, in a safe and timely manner.
  • Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and inspecting equipment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate forklift, locomotive, and other equipment.
  • Basic mechanical skills and knowledge of arithmetic and its application.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6-12 months of general work experience, preferably in a shipping and receiving environment.
  • Knowledge of arithmetic and its application, as well as basic mechanical skills.
  • Ability to operate forklift, locomotive, and other equipment.
  • Experience with quality control and assurance procedures.
Physical and Stress Considerations
  • This role requires working at heights, being around moving machinery and vehicles, and wearing personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to tolerate an extended period of physical effort and work in a fast-paced environment.
