Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our pain management team. As an LPN, you will work closely with board-certified physicians and advanced practice providers to treat acute and chronic pain patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accompanying patients to exam/procedure rooms and conducting initial interviews to review medical profiles and document charting.
  • Obtaining and accurately documenting patient vital signs, weight, and reporting any abnormalities to physicians.
  • Assisting with specimen collection and providing minor treatment as directed by physicians.
  • Providing education to patients and families based on their learning needs.
  • Scheduling patient testing and pre-certifying insurance requirements as needed.
  • Responding to telephone messages from patients, physician offices, and other stakeholders.

You will work 50% clinically and 50% administratively, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. You may be required to rotate to our Greenwich location occasionally.



Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in CT.
  • BLS Certification.
  • 1-2 years of professional LPN work experience.
