POSITION OVERVIEW

Compensation range: $65,000 - $80,000, with potential for bonuses. This role entails conducting comprehensive analysis and assessment for the Investment Management Team, aligning with Holland Partner Group's Core Values. The selected candidate will operate under indirect supervision, possessing moderate decision-making authority.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct property tours and foster relationships within the Investment Management division.
  • Engage in internal and external stakeholder meetings, preparing necessary materials and presentations as required.
  • Support due diligence processes for prospective investment opportunities, acquisitions, and divestitures.
  • Research and monitor market data concerning sales comparables, rental trends, vacancy rates, development pipelines, absorption rates, and other critical variables.
  • Analyze operating budgets and financial statements, gaining insights with guidance from colleagues and supervisors.
  • Review contracts for assigned projects and formulate responses.
  • Draft investment memoranda for both internal and external circulation.
  • Prepare and revise cash flow projections; assist with capital calls and distributions as needed, collaborating with the Accounting team.
  • Keep abreast of capital market trends related to both debt and equity.
  • Conduct market research to assess real estate, analyze comparable properties, and evaluate sales trends.
  • Perform asset management analysis to support the Investment Management team.
  • Complete special projects to assist investment management and asset management as necessary.
  • Represent Holland Partner Group professionally at all times.
  • Adhere to company dress code standards and set a positive example for all team members.
  • Execute all other duties as assigned and contribute to the overall team effort in any feasible manner.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline is required.

Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in real estate, finance, or accounting is required. Experience in multi-family sectors is highly preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Capability to accurately manage multiple tasks in a complex and fast-paced environment while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Ability to master company-specific software such as Yardi, LRO, Axio, and Onsite.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the technical aspects of finance.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Capacity to comprehend and clearly articulate legal documents.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized.
  • Must be proactive, adaptable, responsible, and resourceful.
  • Proven ability to analyze key financial performance indicators, such as costs, profits, and assets.
  • Commitment to maintaining integrity and alignment with the corporate vision and Core Values.
Attendance Requirements: This full-time role is exempt and necessitates availability during business hours to fulfill company and departmental needs. Additional hours or a flexible schedule may be required.

This position also entails:
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Occasional travel and overnight stays.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Hearing and visual capabilities to observe and identify signs of emergency situations.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
