About the Role

Lead Business Office Operations

As a Business Office Manager at Brookdale DeLand, you will be responsible for leading the business office operations of the community. This includes attracting, engaging, developing, and retaining associates necessary to provide high-quality care and personalized services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business office operations, including managing payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Support the Executive Director in driving profitable growth and complying with operational processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure effective communication with associates, residents, families, vendors, and other visitors to the community.
  • Oversee the timely collection of receivables and ensure that residents are properly billed for services provided.
  • Responsible for overseeing payroll process to ensure that associates are paid correctly.
  • Support an inclusive community culture and ensure that all associates are treated with respect and dignity.

Requirements

  • Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school required; or additional years of experience can be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
  • Minimum of three years related experience and/or training. Previous managerial and office setting experience preferred.
