Pediatrician at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated pediatrician to join our team at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals. As a pediatrician, you will provide exceptional care to infants, children, and young adults, and contribute to our mission of providing the highest quality healthcare to the diverse and underserved communities we serve.
Responsibilities:- Provide clinical services in the Infant Care Center at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, a Level III community nursery.
- Teach and mentor a variety of learners, including UCSF medical students, residents in family and community medicine and pediatrics, and pediatric chief residents.
- Engage in quality improvement activities, serve on medical staff and university committees, and participate in other academic activities.
- Medical degree and license.
- Board certification or eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- NRP certification.
- Proven experience working independently in neonatal ICU settings.
- Demonstrated commitment to urban underserved pediatric patients.
- Proven abilities in collaborative teamwork.
- Experience supervising residents and medical students in a clinical setting.
- Proficiency in bilingualism, particularly Spanish.
- Experience in caring for families facing significant social challenges.
