Pediatrician Opportunities at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals

We are seeking highly qualified general pediatricians to join our team at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals. As a member of our Division of Pediatrics, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care, engage in scholarly pursuits, and contribute to the highest standards of medical education.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical services at the outpatient Children's Health Center with a focus on primary, urgent, and/or specialty care.
- Have the potential to include FTE for inpatient clinical work on the pediatric hospitalist and nocturnist services.
- Engage in special projects and contribute to the development of new initiatives.
- Attend high-risk deliveries, neonatal resuscitation and stabilization, clinical management of pediatric inpatients, and critically ill neonates, as well as consultations for pediatric patients in the emergency department.
- Medical degree and license.
- Board certification or eligibility in pediatrics.
- Proven experience in providing outpatient clinical care to children from birth through 21 years of age.
- Demonstrated commitment to urban underserved pediatric patients.
- Proven abilities in collaborative teamwork.
- Experience working with and supervising residents and medical students in a clinical setting.
- NRP and PALS certification for nocturnists.
- Proficiency in bilingualism, particularly Spanish.
- Experience in caring for children facing significant social challenges and adverse childhood experiences (ACES).
- Strong procedural skills, including neonatal intubation, umbilical catheterization, and needle thoracentesis.
