Position: Metal Fabrication and Aircraft Technician

Description:

Become a part of our skilled team as a Metal Fabrication and Aircraft Technician, dedicated to supporting the repair and production processes for a range of aircraft types. This versatile position encompasses responsibilities of both a metal fabrication technician and an aircraft technician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess structural integrity of aircraft metal components
  • Identify fractures, breaks, and other defects in aircraft and metal frameworks
  • Decide on and carry out essential repairs
  • Organize and implement tasks based on technical drawings and schematics
  • Work with diverse metals and materials
  • Fabricate new components as required
  • Perform additional assigned tasks

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least four years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with aircraft systems and associated tools
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools for metalworking
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Capable of passing background checks and drug screenings

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform a variety of physical tasks
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Operate machinery and equipment effectively
  • Good visual and auditory capabilities
