Salary

The estimated salary for this position is between $46.35 and $81.11 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This role involves supporting multiple clients through troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of various technologies along the roadside. Key responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining raceways, wiring, and equipment for electrical systems, access controls, intrusion detection, and other systems. Additionally, you will inspect, test, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communications, and power circuits.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field is required.
  • An Electrician License valid in Virginia is necessary.
  • Experience working with voltages up to 480v is a must.
  • Familiarity with electrical construction practices, including threading, bending conduit, and pulling/removing wire, is essential.
  • You should be able to follow directions to complete various job tasks and have knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Ability to understand installation manuals for various types of equipment is also required.
  • You should be able to identify, communicate, and isolate electrical hazards.
  • Working outside in all types of weather and lifting up to 50 lbs. for short distances are also part of the job requirements.
  • A Driver's license is necessary, and you must meet our insurance requirements.
