Full Time LPN Position

Latham Internal Medicine is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team. This is a 40-hour per week position with a consistent schedule and no overtime required.

Responsibilities:
Administer and record vaccines, document verbal conversations with patients, and maintain timely patient flow. Prepare patients for visits as needed and obtain specimens from patients as directed by the provider. Accurately and timely enter orders into the lab system and perform clinical office procedures as directed. Process patient prescriptions and discuss test results with patients per provider's instructions.

Requirements:
Valid NYS LPN license, previous LPN experience in a medical practice or prior experience as a Medical Assistant or Patient Care Tech. Strong computer skills with experience using EMR and knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols. Maintain strictest confidentiality and discretion and knowledge of medical chart reporting/records. Skill in appropriate assessment and assistance techniques.
