Job Summary

AKHIRE, INC is seeking a compassionate and skilled Resident Care Associate to provide exceptional care to residents in a Juneau residential senior care living facility.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with seniors and long-time Alaskans, and will be responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living, monitoring and documenting changes in residents' health or behavior, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, and mobility
  • Monitor and document changes in residents' health or behavior
  • Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment
  • Lift and/or transfer residents as needed
  • Provide personalized care and attention to detail
  • Ensure residents feel safe and comfortable
  • Interact with residents in a compassionate and sensitive manner
Requirements

Resident Care Associate:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and a competent history in a similar facility preferred
  • Valid First Aid Certifications and CPR/CNA Certification required
  • Background check and drug screening required
  • Speak, read, and understand English fluently
