Job Summary:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Bartlett Regional Hospital, you will provide basic nursing care to patients and/or residents under the direct supervision of a licensed RN. This role requires proficiency in speaking English to effectively communicate with patients and/or residents from diverse backgrounds. You will be assigned to a specific home unit but may be floated to other areas for additional support when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide basic nursing care to patients and/or residents in accordance with their assessment and treatment plan.
• Support and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and/or residents.
• Be proficient in speaking English to accurately and effectively communicate with patients and/or residents.

Requirements:

• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
• Current State of Alaska Certified Nursing Assistant license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Completion and certification by Bartlett's approved Behavioral Health Physical Intervention and Verbal De-escalation training program within ninety (90) days of hire.

Compensation:

CNA I: $21.64 - $25.46 per hour.
CNA II: $25.40 - $29.88 per hour.

Additional Information:

Casual employees receive a $2 an hour casual differential in addition to their hourly base rate of pay. They will not be scheduled to work a full-time schedule for more than four (4) consecutive months or more than 780 hours annually. Casual employees must work a minimum of one (1) shift within a 90-day period to maintain status and employment.
