Job Summary:

As a Respiratory Therapist with Arctic Slope Native Association, Ltd, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients at Samuel Simmonds Memorial Hospital under limited supervision. This role requires a strong foundation in respiratory therapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide respiratory care services to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation support, and aerosol therapy.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.

Requirements:

A minimum of an Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field is preferred.
One year of Respiratory Therapy experience is required, with RRT certification preferred.
Must be registered or registry eligible by the National Board of Respiratory Care and hold BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is preferred, with a requirement to achieve within six months of hire.
Experience in the Alaska Tribal Health System is highly valued, as is training or experience in worksite wellness programs and systems change implementation.
