Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon

MedStar Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon to join our team at the MedStar Orthopaedic Institute at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. As a leading academic Level 1 trauma center in Washington, D.C., we offer a unique opportunity for a fellowship-trained Traumatologist to shape the future of healthcare in our region.
About the RoleWe are looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible fellowship-trained Traumatologist to join our expanding multi-specialty practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well within a highly collaborative team. The successful candidate will be eligible for an academic appointment at Georgetown University School of Medicine and will have the opportunity to work with both medical students and residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the field of orthopaedic traumatology
- Collaborate with a highly skilled team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
- Participate in academic and research activities, including teaching and mentoring
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
