Medical Records Specialist

As a Medical Records Representative at United Surgical Partners, you will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of patient records. This position requires a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in hospital or medical records, as well as knowledge of The Joint Commission Standards.
Key responsibilities include preparing work areas to meet high-paced demands, promoting positive relationships with patients and staff, and adhering to hospital financial and admitting policies.
To be successful in this role, you must be detail-oriented, able to communicate effectively, and possess problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Additionally, you will be responsible for insurance verification and collection processes, as well as demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
