Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Presbyterian Healthcare Services, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound exams for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physicians. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
* Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams using various modalities and techniques
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and exam results
* Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
* Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Two years of radiology ultrasound specific college coursework or an Associate's degree
* ARDMS certification within one year of hire
* Current New Mexico State Licensure (DMS-NM) under the New Mexico Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program
