RightWorks Inc is seeking a highly skilled Transactional Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our Finance and Restructuring group. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a premier Boston-based law firm, serving clients across the US and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with attorneys on commercial real estate transactions and LLC formations.
- Draft and modify LLC documents and agreements.
- Assist attorneys with due diligence, including reviewing real estate and loan documents.
- Prepare summary/timelines of Purchase and Sale Agreements.
- Draft title objections and responses to title objections.
- Oversee signature conferences for closings.
- Complete title and survey review.
- Provide extensive communication with title agents and surveyors.
- Communicate with county and local government regarding zoning regulations.
- Review closing/lender checklists and assist attorneys with fulfillment of closing requirements.
- Assemble final documents for closing.
- Assist with closing transcript preparation.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or certificate from an accredited paralegal program.
- Minimum of three years of corporate-related experience.
- Thorough knowledge of legal principles and practices.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
