Job Summary

The Plant Controller Western Pennsylvania is responsible for leading the financial performance management and control for our two sites in Murrysville. This role will support the transition of our footprint to an external supplier and transition into a Purchasing Controller role, managing the financial control of our external supplier.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify and deliver core improvement initiatives, collaborating with the Head of Finance and Plant Leaders.
  • Develop forward-looking information on factory cost, FTEs, and absorption, aligning financial performance and expectations with business stakeholders.
  • Implement changes to ways of working to drive effectiveness, efficiency, and results, actively involved in strategic operational projects.
  • Ensure accuracy and transparency of the P&L and balance sheet, focusing on factory cost, absorption, and factory cost prices.
  • Coordinate month-end close activity, including journal entry preparation and reconciliations, maintaining a strong internal control environment.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Finance with a focus on Factories or Supply Chain, prior accounting or internal control experience a plus.
  • Influence stakeholders and effectively delegate work to the General Business Service team.
  • Deep understanding of financial control, accounting, and business analysis, excellent PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, SAP).
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics.
  • Analytical person with critical thinking skills, able to translate insights into concrete actions.
