Role Summary:

We are currently seeking a Janitor to join our team. This role will be based in Atlanta, GA, and will report directly to the Maintenance Manager. The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, ensuring that all floors and offices are kept tidy and that waste is disposed of regularly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping of floors.
  • Maintain cleanliness in buildings by emptying trash receptacles, servicing restrooms, and sanitizing communal areas.
  • Address heavy cleaning tasks as requested.
  • Ensure that outdoor pathways are clear and free from debris.
  • Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Properly mix and dispose of cleaning solutions.

Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will possess a High School Diploma or GED. The ability to operate heavy cleaning equipment and machinery is essential. Candidates should be capable of walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting repetitively during working hours. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper storage and disposal methods is important.

Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Strong organizational skills and self-motivation are essential, along with the ability to identify and complete tasks independently.
