We are seeking a highly skilled Distribution Planner to join our Inventory Management Team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the strategic planning of inventory positions to drive sales, manage inventory turn, and meet or exceed financial targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the allocation functions, systems, and processes necessary to maintain appropriate store inventory levels.
  • Ensure stores maintain appropriate in-stock, service levels, and weeks on hand objectives.
  • Set up and maintain system parameters, profiles, safety stocks, display minimums, and other settings to achieve store/item in stock goals and objectives.
  • Plan and execute allocations to support visual floor sets and perimeter or bay requirements by store group.
  • Operate a computer and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Transport materials and equipment, and lift, move, and carry objects up to 50 pounds on a limited basis.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of retail planning and distribution experience.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with field and corporate partners.
  • A self-starter who is not afraid to take initiative.
  • Maintains a sense of urgency that is in line with current needs and objectives.
  • Thinks creatively and innovatively to solve problems.
  • Able to succeed in a rapidly changing environment/department.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • BA degree preferred.
  • Ability to work onsite in an office environment and remotely on Fridays.
