Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at Wexford Health Sources, Inc. as a Behavioral Health Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of justice-involved patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality psychiatric services to patients in a correctional setting
  • Develop and implement behavioral health plans and policies
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff on mental health issues
  • Ensure compliance with ACA/NCCHC standards and correctional system regulations
Requirements
  • Current IL State Medical license
  • Current IL Controlled Substance license
  • Current DEA license
  • Board Certification - American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
  • CPR certification
Preferred Experience

3 years of experience in an institutional healthcare setting, preferably in correctional healthcare
