Job Summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team in a correctional setting. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality psychiatric care to patients in a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric evaluations and treatment plans for patients
  • Collaborate with correctional staff to ensure seamless delivery of care
  • Develop and implement behavioral health programs and policies
  • Ensure compliance with ACA/NCCHC standards and correctional system regulations

Requirements
  • Current IL State Medical license required
  • Current IL Controlled Substance license required
  • Current DEA required
  • Board Certification - American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology required
  • CPR certification required

Preferred Experience
3 years experience in an institutional healthcare setting preferred. Correctional healthcare experience preferred.
