Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at nVent. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing mechanical maintenance support for our nVent Thermal Management RWC Manufacturing Plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mechanical maintenance support for nVent Thermal Management RWC Manufacturing Plants
  • Troubleshoot equipment, make routine modifications, and perform corrective and preventative maintenance
  • Identify, select, and work with basic materials participating in the building/moving of equipment
  • Participate in group brainstorms reviewing equipment performance factors, including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
  • Use lean tools to identify root cause and implement corrective actions through PDCA for safety, quality, productivity, and delivery
  • Participate in maintenance improvement goals leading to set up reduction, improved productivity, quality, and delivery
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D
  • 5+ years industrial mechanical experience required
  • Computer experience with Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, MACPAC, and the Internet
  • Knowledge of plastics manufacturing equipment is a plus, including extruders, payoffs/take-ups, mixers, dryers, feeder systems, and other plastic coated wire processes
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance and LOTO is a plus
  • Receptive to Lean concepts and use of the tools for continuous improvement
