We are seeking reliable and experienced Armed Security Officers to join our team. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for patrolling and securing assigned premises, identifying risks to staff and patrons, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules and regulations
  • Conduct thorough examinations of doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
  • Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
  • Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
  • Report any facility issues, such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
  • Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations

Requirements

  • Virginia Armed DCJS License (Training is available for qualified candidates)
  • Highly preferred 2 years of armed security, military, law enforcement, or corrections experience
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including standing, walking, climbing stairs, running, and physically restraining a violent person
  • Strong attention to detail
  • First Aid and CPR/AED certification
