Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Martha's Vineyard Hospital. As a key member of our ambulatory care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the delivery of medical services.

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting healthcare providers with patient exams, taking vital signs, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining accurate records. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Ability to read, write legibly, speak clearly, and understand the English language
  • Preferred completion of Medical Assistant School/Program or comparable training within a related discipline
  • BLS certification required at time of hire, or must be obtained within 90 days of start date
  • Experience working in an ambulatory setting preferred
