Job Summary

We seek an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Ortho Neuro Trauma unit. As a Lead Orthopedic and Neurological Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while promoting a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Standards of Practice: Utilize the nursing process components of assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver evidence-based care.
  • Standards of Professional Performance: Engage in professional role activities, including leadership, collaboration, communication, and education, to promote quality patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
  • Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged

Working Conditions

This role requires prolonged standing, walking, use of sight, hearing, and touch. May be exposed to infectious diseases and physical, mental, and emotional illness as well as end-of-life conditions and death.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per year
