Role Responsibilities:
The Integrated Specialty Pharmacy Navigator will collaborate with medical clinic care teams to provide pharmacy-focused administrative support and coordinate assistance for patients beginning and continuing treatment with specialty medications.
This role involves:
- Facilitating patient access to medications.
- Ensuring treatment affordability and adherence to therapy.
- Working closely with other medical clinic members to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
Job Type:
Full-time
Compensation:
$24.11-$30.14 hourly, based on experience.

Qualifications:
Required:
Active Pharmacy Technician license in Washington and/or Oregon upon hire, with licensure in both states required within three months of hire.
Preferred:
Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting with demonstrated customer service skills. Knowledge of pharmacy benefit investigation, prior authorization support, and patient financial assistance connections is advantageous.
Essential Skills:
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are crucial. Proficiency in computer applications and the ability to learn new software platforms are necessary for accurate work execution.
Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Working Conditions:
This role is primarily conducted in a medical office environment, involving extensive keyboard and telephone work.
Contact with Others:
Internally, the role requires communication with Ardon employees across various departments and externally with insurance plans, manufacturers, and financial charities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with insurance companies to investigate medication benefit coverage for patients.
- Provide prior authorization support, including health history entry and documentation submission.
- Update patients and providers on prescription statuses.
- Connect patients with financial support programs and additional resources as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and comply with company policies and procedures.
