- Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, boxes, conduits, feeders, panels, commercial switchgear, transformers, disconnects, and other electrical components.
- Test electrical equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
- Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, and other electrical systems.
- Communicate effectively with clients, construction workers, plumbers, and other crew members.
- Trench for electrical underground installations.
- Test electrical systems using voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters to identify issues and ensure system safety.
- Repair electrical issues by replacing or installing components, wiring, or devices.
- Determine the necessary steps to assess electrical situations using testing devices, blueprints, and maps.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements.
- Use ladders, scaffolding, platforms, and lifts to work on electrical systems in commercial properties.
- Trench and install underground PVC and overhead EMT.
- Interpersonal Skills: Focus on solving conflicts, maintain confidentiality, listen to others, and be proactive in resolving issues.
- Written Communication: Write clearly and informatively, considering the audience and varying writing style accordingly.
- Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
- Time Management: Prioritize and plan work activities, using time efficiently.
