Compensation Overview
The anticipated salary range for this position is $96,600.00 to $132,900.00 annually. This range reflects the base salary that a candidate can expect upon joining. Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, and educational background, among other factors. Additionally, this role is eligible for an incentive bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee manufacturing resources to achieve production targets and assist in budget preparation and cost measurement standards.
- Plan and schedule operations to optimize equipment usage and maintain peak productivity.
- Utilize operational metrics to manage product costs, material consumption, machine downtime, and other essential functions.
- Proactively enhance safety performance by aiming for a reduction in OSHA incident rates and lost time accidents to zero.
- Develop and implement controls and metrics for material and labor usage.
- Ensure that production processes adhere to company policies and that products meet specified quality standards.
- Maintain compliance with all financial, legal, regulatory, and environmental standards within the operation.
- Manage product manufacturing, quality assurance, and raw material oversight for the operation.
- May undertake additional related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in management, engineering, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated supervisory and leadership capabilities.
- Proven track record of driving change and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the Plant Leadership team.
- Skilled in diagnosing and resolving process-related challenges.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Responsible for managing a team of 3 salaried and approximately 80 hourly employees, including performance evaluations, compensation reviews, hiring, and terminations.
- Physical capability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Minimal travel required, estimated at 0 to 10 days per year.
- Work environment typical of a manufacturing facility, with potential exposure to varying environmental conditions.
