Job Summary

This is a Sr. Electrical & Controls Engineer position at Strivector, a manufacturing premium-quality insulation, commercial roofing and building materials company. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology with a minimum of 5 years of experience in control systems engineering in a continuous and/or discrete manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Sr. Electrical & Controls Engineer will be responsible for performing power, electrical control systems engineering for all aspects of projects. This includes preparing and reviewing technical electrical specifications for equipment and processes projects, assisting the facility with manufacturing operations, and executing electrical safety initiatives. Additionally, the Sr. Electrical & Controls Engineer will provide project management and oversight for all aspects and phases of multiple project assignments concurrently, driving projects to completion and ensuring compliance with technical specifications and contracts for equipment and services for all aspects of projects.

Desired Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have deep experience in many of the following areas: demonstrated experience in the engineering and implementation of 480V (Switchgear, Power Distribution Panel, Motor Control Center) and 4160V Power Distribution Systems, managing overall project budget, forecasts, schedule, scope, deliverables, execution, and reporting to provide the expected benefits of the project to the organization, coordinating, reviewing, providing oversight, and managing external engineering resources and consultants as needed, and providing input to the Corporate Electrical Group in review and implementation of Corporate Specifications and Standards.
