Job Overview

Alliance Technical Group is a leading provider of environmental services, seeking an Entry-Level Lab Technician to support our laboratory operations.

This is an entry-level position that offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a laboratory setting while contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general laboratory operations, including preparation and analysis of samples
  • Document work performed in accordance with established protocols; compile analysis data into lab reports
  • Prepare reagents and various media for testing
  • Perform routine daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of laboratory instruments and workspace
  • Review SOPs and guidance documents to ensure all procedures accurately reflect laboratory practices and meet NELAC and/or EPA requirements
  • Maintain sample custody, control, and hazardous waste disposal
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Education: High School diploma or GED; chemistry or physical science degree preferred
  • Experience working with hazardous chemicals
  • General knowledge of chemistry and lab analysis operations and lab safety
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including MS Word and Excel
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Good attention to detail

The estimated salary for this role is $17-$22 per hour.
