Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

As a Restaurant Supervisor at McDonald's, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of 4-6 restaurants and their General Managers. Your primary objective will be to optimize customer satisfaction, sales, and profit.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with General Managers and staff to ensure optimal sales and profitability.
  • Coach Restaurant Management Teams to achieve the highest levels of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
  • Interview, hire, and retain restaurant management, while assisting General Managers in developing successful managers.
  • Analyze sales trends, identifying patterns and opportunities for sales growth, and implement programs to capitalize on additional sales opportunities.
  • Conduct performance reviews for General Managers every six months, ensuring they also conduct reviews for managers and crew members.
  • Complete monthly cash and security audits, taking corrective action where necessary to ensure safety and security of restaurant personnel and assets.
  • Assist in introducing new products, procedures, and equipment, while implementing basic programs and systems of our business.
  • Complete operations reviews on restaurants for all day parts once per month.
  • Meet annual, quarterly, and monthly profit objectives as established by the Director of Operations.
  • Ensure all management schedules are received by the Director of Operations no later than the 20th day of each month for the next month, including a plan for all activities, such as truck deliveries, order completion, training, meetings, and scheduling.
  • Submit food and labor costs to the Director of Operations and Director of Restaurant Operations every Monday morning.
  • Maintain Health Department Standards.
  • Attend manager's meetings in all patch restaurants.
  • Prepare assigned restaurants for visits from the Director of Operations and McDonald's Corporation.
