Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the financial and operational aspects of the community, including accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
  • Process invoices, collect rent, fees, and other payments, and complete bank deposits and reconciliations.
  • Assist in managing the client/owner relationship, including meeting with owners, conducting property tours, and providing updates on property performance.
  • Support leasing and marketing efforts, including greeting prospective residents, gathering information, and showing ready apartments and models.
  • Complete various accounting, financial, administrative, and other reports, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and 2 years of experience in the multifamily industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively, as well as mathematical skills necessary to complete financial records and budgets.
  • Strong proficiency in using property management software, such as Yardi and/or One Site.
  • Current valid driver's license.

Incumbents must be able to physically access all exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities. Must be able to operate golf carts at properties with golf carts, walk extended distances and navigate stairs to multiple levels daily.

Assistant Community Directors must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty (20) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance.
