Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Shearers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate all aspects of materials management, including plant production scheduling, material planning, bulk purchasing, inventory control, and inbound and outbound shipments.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Manage the physical warehouse and truck yard, including employee management, equipment maintenance, and facilities management.
- Collaborate with central procurement to coordinate programs and projects related to the plant.
- Develop and achieve departmental budgets on an annual basis.
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including inventory control and quality assurance.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
- At least 5 years of management experience in a warehousing/distribution environment, preferably in an FDA-regulated facility.
- Expertise in inventory control and order fulfillment quality standards and metrics.
- Highly assertive and self-directing, with high proficiency in disciplined detailed execution, organization, and leadership.
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to work across a matrix organization.
- Fully competent and knowledgeable on Warehouse Management Systems and Transportation Management Systems.
- Demonstrated project management and influencing skills to ensure project and KPI success.
