Job Summary

As a key member of our team at Synovus, the Investment Associate - Sales Support will provide critical administrative support to our Financial Consultants. This role is responsible for responding to client inquiries, processing trades, and performing various clerical tasks to ensure seamless client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide daily administrative support to Financial Consultants, including processing incoming business, follow-up with clients and dealers as needed, and executing client trade requests.
  • Client Servicing: Respond to client inquiries, process new accounts, obtain necessary account documents, resolve inquiries, and process account transfers.
  • Order Processing: Process orders for existing clients and answer questions regarding Synovus' products and services.
  • Clerical and Administrative Tasks: Perform all clerical and administrative tasks, including preparation and processing of correspondence and communications, preparation of reports, and daily filing of client information.
  • Client Communication: Communicate daily with clients providing trade settlement information, coordinating payment and delivery of funds, providing portfolio information, and other requests. Schedule appointments and prepare materials for client meetings and seminars.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Create reports for Financial Consultants regarding market conditions, sales results, and team earnings as requested. Organize and update product information.
  • Risk Management: Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area, observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and risk limits specific to their role. They should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Four years of sales support experience in the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Knowledge of securities compliance.
    • Proficiency using Microsoft Office software products.
    • Certification(s): Series 7 and 63 or 65 or 66 licenses.
