Position Overview:

The Foot & Ankle (F&A) Sales Associate is tasked with expanding and nurturing the F&A healthcare professional (HCP) clientele within a designated region.

This role requires the individual to attain a comprehensive understanding of the product line, ensuring effective presentation, demonstration, and application of products. The associate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with current clients in the F&A product range.

As the primary advocate for the product line in their area, the F&A Sales Associate collaborates closely with the Regional Sales Manager to formulate business strategies, target markets, and overall plans to meet financial objectives in their territory.


Core Responsibilities:
Develop a thorough knowledge of the F&A product line, including new offerings and competitive alternatives.
Lead the sales efforts for the F&A product range to new clients while identifying avenues to enhance sales with existing accounts.
Provide education and guidance to surgeons and hospital personnel regarding the proper application of our F&A products.
Establish and cultivate clinical relationships with key surgeons, clinicians, and evaluators.

Case Support:
Maintain regular contact with surgeons and residents among all potential or newly acquired clients. Provide necessary support to F&A surgeons and operating room staff during surgical procedures as required.
Conduct field visits for accounts within the assigned territory, including being available for on-call and emergency room consultations as needed.
Work in conjunction with Trauma partners to effectively expand and develop the F&A business in specific regions.

Inventory Oversight:

Ensure that sales tools and promotional materials are maintained in excellent condition and utilized to support territory initiatives in accordance with company policies.

Guarantee timely delivery of products to surgical sites.
Achieve business objectives and sales targets through the strategic use of approved resources.
Complete necessary administrative tasks and other assigned duties accurately and promptly.
Invoice clients correctly for products delivered.
Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or 4 years of related experience in F&A, Trauma, or Orthopedics, or a recent transition from Active Duty Military.


Experience and Skills:
Required:
The F&A Sales Associate is expected to adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures relevant to the role as outlined in the policy manuals. The associate must uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and compliance at all times. Any legal or ethical inquiries should be communicated promptly to a supervisor or the Health Care Compliance and/or Legal Department.
Ability to operate in a laboratory or surgical environment.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including the capacity to convey technical information effectively in a hospital setting, along with negotiation, influence, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and business acumen.

Successful candidates will be self-driven with strong relationship-building capabilities.
Focus on both internal and external customers.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented structure.
A valid U.S. driver's license is required.
Must successfully pass a background check, including a review of driving history.
Preferred:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field is preferred. Military experience is also considered.

Experience in podiatry is preferred.
