Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned fundraiser to join our Office of Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement as Senior Director of Philanthropy At Large for our Daytona Beach campus. This dynamic leader will chart the course for fundraising success, cultivating relationships with esteemed alumni, foundations, and corporate partners.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Major Gifts: Develop and implement strategies to secure major gifts from individual donors, with a focus on cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding relationships.
  2. Unit Liaison: Engage with academic units to coordinate development activities, participate in leadership meetings, and foster collaborative relationships with academic leaders, staff, and students.
  3. Support Central Development: Observe institutional development policies, participate in central development meetings, and maintain training and knowledge of best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required (foreign equivalent or higher)
  • 6+ years of full-time fundraising experience in higher education, healthcare, or non-profit
  • Proven record of success in cultivating and closing major gifts
  • Experience managing a broad portfolio of donor relationships and multiple priorities
  • Experience with Salesforce or comparable donor relationship applications
