Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Medical and Radiology Director, the Radiologic Technologist performs a variety of radiographic procedures at a skilled technical level requiring the ability to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnosis.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs related work as required.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of approved school of Radiographic Technology.
  • Current CRT with BLS.
  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires the ability to walk pushing equipment up to 400 pounds frequently.
  • Must have dexterity, coordination, visual/auditory acuity to perform duties.
  • Must be able to reach, stretch and assist patients routinely.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years hospital experience.
  • CT Scan Experience.
  • Fluoro Certification.
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms.
