About the Role

Network for Hope (NFH) is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Preservation Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organ recovery process, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient recovery and preservation of organs for transplantation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities within the operating room during organ recovery procedures.
  • Liaise with recovery surgeons, Organ Recovery Coordinators, and operating room staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to protocols.
  • Review donor information in the OPTN system.
  • Assist with the recovery of organs for research as needed.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or healthcare certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of healthcare experience required as a surgical technician, surgical assistant, perfusionist, LPN, EMT, or similar role.
  • Certified Transplant Preservationist (CTP) required or must obtain certification within one year of meeting eligibility requirements.
