Job Overview

Position Summary

The Metal Fabrication Specialist will be responsible for assembling and fabricating structural metal components, including frameworks and shells for machinery, as well as metal parts for construction projects. This role requires proficiency in operating various fabricating machines, such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, and drill presses, and may involve the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow detailed instructions and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication.
  • Operate fabricating machinery with precision and adhere to safety standards.
  • Perform a variety of tasks that may change frequently based on project needs.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality in all work performed.
  • Evaluate information using measurable standards to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Physically handle materials, including lifting up to 100 pounds and climbing ladders or scaffolds as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific directions.
  • Capability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining quality.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and be available as scheduled.
Additional Requirements

Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screening, background check, and physical examination. Attendance and punctuality are crucial for this role, and candidates should demonstrate effective time management skills.
