Job Overview

CAVA Products East is seeking a highly skilled Grocery Product Trade Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving growth and profitability through the development and execution of strategic product initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate meaningful product and sales opportunities to drive growth and profitability.
  • Lead the development and execution of a subset of these initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to inform product decisions.
  • Monitor product performance and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Integrate data from internal and external sources to inform decision-making and build data-based sales stories.
  • Work effectively within our Enterprise Resource Planning system.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key distributors and broker sales partners.
  • Identify marketing support tools required and work with internal creative teams to scope and execute projects.
  • Develop and manage a library of resources for sales partners and internal teams.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure successful product, retailer, and initiative launches.
  • Conduct impactful and meaningful DE&I conversations within the team and organization.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management or trade marketing in consumer goods.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with various data sources.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools, ERP systems, and customer data platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to build a cohesive story with both data and qualitative elements.
  • A collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
