**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients seeking healthcare services at our medical clinic. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care, safety, and teamwork.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Provide age-appropriate immunizations and stay up-to-date with CDC vaccine schedule changes
  • Serve as a vaccination coordinator alternate for the Vaccine for Children's (VFC) Program with the Texas Department of Health Services (DSHS)
  • Assist with physical exams, medical procedures, and administering/dispensing prescribed medication according to Pharmacy D regulations
  • Respond to emergency medical situations and assist with patient screening
  • Receive, review, and prioritize laboratory results and document abnormal values in the electronic medical record system
  • Assist with controlling patient flow through the facility and providing patient education

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree or diploma in Nursing or a related field of study
  • Active license with no restriction as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the State of Texas by the Texas Board of Nursing
  • One (1) year minimum full-time work experience as an LVN in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per annum

Work Environment: This position operates in a medical clinic environment, requiring occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 10 lbs., and sometimes up to 20 lbs. Travel within Harris County may be required.
