About the Role

Leidos is seeking an experienced Endpoint Services Lead to join our Defense Enclave Services team, who will support a critical digital modernization program for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and Department of Defense (DoD) Fourth Estate Agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide thought leadership and mentoring to a team of UEM engineers, including frequent collaboration with engineering, operations, and agencies to plan and execute end-user onboarding.
  • Design and implement UEM solutions that meet end-user requirements, creating and managing policies for application deployment, device compliance, and security configurations.
  • Continually identify opportunities for improvement, including innovations in the UEM domain aimed at improving the user experience, improving efficiencies, and lowering sustainment costs.
  • Enforce security best practices and guidelines, leveraging knowledge of security policies, network security, and data security.
  • Initiate frequent interactions with the team of UEM engineers to identify areas of improvement and facilitate their career growth, including participation in annual performance reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 12+ years of prior relevant experience.
  • Expertise in the deployment and management of UEM/MDM technologies.
  • Experience managing teams of engineers, including mentoring and fostering communication and collaboration across the team.
  • Experience developing and deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC), utilizing continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools, and leveraging automation platforms such as Ansible or Azure Functions.
  • Understanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements such as NIST, FedRAMP, and FISMA.
  • Ability to work effectively within a distributed technical team, aided by strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current IAT Level II (or higher) Certification such as Security+ or CISSP.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Intune Expert, JAMF System 400 Level Certification.
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence.
