Key Responsibilities:

  • Educates individuals on healthcare plan benefits and eligibility criteria.
  • Assesses and verifies the eligibility of prospective enrollees.
  • Coordinates with necessary stakeholders to arrange assessments.
  • Addresses inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Processes enrollment applications.
  • Collaborates effectively with various departments and external partners.
  • Generates reports related to enrollment activities.
  • Aids in the monitoring and updating of relevant systems.
  • Provides guidance on service processes.
  • Engages in outreach efforts to both new and existing members.

Qualifications:

Licenses and Certifications: A valid NYS driver's license or NYS non-driver's ID is required.

Education: An Associate's Degree in health, human services, or a related field is preferred.

Work Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in customer service is essential.

Demonstrates strong interpersonal, organizational, attention to detail, and analytical skills.

Familiarity with Medicaid eligibility standards is advantageous.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Previous experience in a call center environment is a plus.
