Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle incoming inquiries from investment professionals, plan sponsors, and members across various topics.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings, including both current and discontinued items that require ongoing support.
  • Interpret and implement updates and enhancements to products based on daily communications.
  • Utilize consultative skills to identify underlying questions and provide expert guidance to clients.
  • Document interactions meticulously to enhance our understanding of client needs and strengthen relationships.
  • Adhere to compliance standards set by FINRA and other regulatory bodies, as well as internal policies.
  • Educate clients on important aspects such as tax implications, penalties, and benefits related to their plans.
  • Analyze issues to determine the best resolution, aiming for first-contact resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address escalated matters and integrate lean methodologies into daily operations.
  • Engage in regular one-on-one meetings with leadership to outline career development strategies.
  • Set and pursue goals to ensure success in the current role and future opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Key Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Industry designations such as ChFC or CLU are desirable; FINRA series 6 and/or 26 licenses may be required based on the role.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in customer service or sales-related positions.
  • Familiarity with various insurance products and the sales process.
  • Understanding of state and local laws regarding product features.
  • Knowledge of FINRA regulations and their implications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction.
  • Proficiency in computer usage and common office software.
  • Ability to grasp general aspects of plans/contracts and leverage technology to enhance client conversations.
  • Other qualifications, including leadership abilities and relevant experiences, may be considered.
