POSITION SUMMARY:

The Customer Service Associate plays a vital role in the Front of House team at d'Lite Healthy On The Go. This position is dedicated to ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction through effective management of customer interactions, including greetings, menu assistance, payment processing, and loyalty program engagement. The Customer Service Associate is expected to embody the company's core values and consistently demonstrate the highest standards of guest experience by providing outstanding service in a clean, friendly, and safe environment.

The Customer Service Associate must successfully complete the General Team Member Training Certification and the Customer Service Associate Training Certification.

Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential for effective communication with customers, vendors, and management. Professional appearance, speech, and conduct are required at all times.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greet customers warmly and guide them through the menu with enthusiasm, ensuring a positive experience that aligns with company values.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, modifications, allergens, and pricing.
  • Handle orders from inside, drive-thru, and phone inquiries.
  • Assist other team members as required.
  • Operate the Point of Sale system (POS) accurately, reconciling daily transactions, sales, tips, and credit card payments.
  • Adhere to proper cash handling procedures at all times.
  • Follow company policies regarding discounts, voids, employee meals, and customer loyalty programs.
  • Complete primary and secondary responsibilities as well as daily tasks to a high standard.
  • Address customer concerns and escalate to management as necessary.
  • Engage with customers at their tables to ensure order accuracy, food quality, and overall satisfaction.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company passwords and intellectual property.
  • Exhibit a positive and helpful demeanor while maintaining professional conduct and appearance.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, systems, and processes.
  • Attendance: Regular and predictable attendance is essential, with scheduled hours ranging from early morning to evening, and shifts lasting between 4 to 8 hours.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in a restaurant setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Dependable, honest, and trustworthy with a strong sense of integrity.
  • Possess a positive attitude and strong personal motivation.
  • Friendly and enthusiastic approach to customer service.
  • Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong guest service abilities.
  • Basic math and computer skills are required.
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Completion of General Team Member Training Certification is necessary.
  • Completion of Customer Service Associate Training Certification is necessary.
  • Availability to work weekends is required.
