Role Summary:

At GenesisCare, we seek a skilled Radiation Oncologist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients with cancer, determine appropriate therapy, and provide therapeutic radiation.
  • Develop individual treatment plans based on patients' medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests.
  • Work with medical radiation physicists and dosimetrists to calculate and deliver precise radiation doses.
  • Prescribe medications, radiation treatment planning, and delineate radiation targets.
  • Monitor patients for side effects and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with physics and dosimetry teams to ensure accurate treatment plans.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of patient positioning systems.
  • Transcribe patients' visits to record treatment plans.
  • Lead physician office staff to plan and accomplish goals.
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine Degree required or foreign equivalent.
  • Board Certification from the American Board of Radiology and license to practice medicine required.
  • Thorough knowledge of radiation equipment, radioactive sources, and human anatomy.
  • Detailed knowledge of radiation, pharmacology, chemistry, biochemistry, genetics, and oncology.
